Isabelle

Today is such a sad day for us. Our lovely cat Isabelle had to be put to sleep .She is the first cat Vivienne and I have lost since we have been together.I didn't realize how hard it would be to have her go. She was a wonderful companion. She never met a person she didn't like. She was always very cold and sat on a heating pad all the time. One of the first stories Vivienne told me about her was how much she loved chickens not to eat but to be friends with. She was 19 years old she slept with us every night until she got sick. She played mother cat to everyone in our house even visitors. Its such a wonderful thing to be able to live with animals they are so caring and sweet. We will miss her very much

I am so sorry about Isabelle...what a beautiful girl. I am going through the end stages of cancer with my dog and it is rough. Wishing you and Vivienne peace.

Oh Matte and Vivienne ~ I'm so sorry. I know how hard this. I went through the same experience with my cat Bailey just a few years ago.
My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know what I would do if my pug left us. He's really a part of our family and I consider my little boy.

Our thoughts are with you and Vivienne.

I'm so sorry too. My cat is still so young and I can't imagine how hard it has to be.

Matt

Sorry about your Isabelle. My wife and I have gone through that too, and it is tough. It was so cool to see photos of her in her sweater!

I love your art. We hope to be a customer in 08.

I had to say goodbye to one of my cats last fall - the first time for me to be faced with such a decision. My heart goes out to you. She looks to be a dear one. Sarah @ Lieblingsgarn.

Matte and Vivienne...

I am so sorry for your loss! It's so hard to say goodbye to a constant companion like that. My husband and I have been together 15 years and our dog Barley was in our wedding as a puppy. Just the other night we had a conversation about how we are going to handle the inevitable. That talk alone was hard enough.. my heart goes out to you both..

all the best,

Jen

Hi Matte-
I am familiar with your work but don't think I have lurked by your blog before.

Sorry to read about Isabelle. She looks like a sweetie.

Next time, you are at a bookstore, look for a children's picture book called "Cat Heaven" by Cynthia Rylant. I often give it to clients when patients pass away.

Oh no! I'd die a little if Mini or Bonus were to leave us.

Thinking of you!
